Traditional Energy/BTU measurement systems offer the use of mechanical or differential flow elements, such as turbine, variable orifice, pitot tube, orifice plates, etc., which by their technological nature, have relatively poor accuracies, marginal repeatability, require re-calibration, and offer very limited turn down or rangeability.
